Community Bulb Planting Day in Wray Crescent Park

Working with Islington’s parks team we’ve arranged to host a bulb-planting day in Wray Crescent Park when we hope to plant hundreds of bulbs to set the park ablaze with colour next spring.

We’re inviting the whole neighbourhood to come and join us in planting bulbs in the park from midday on Saturday, November 1. Tools will be provided but do wear gloves if you have them.

You don’t need to have planted bulbs before, all ages are welcome, and everyone gets to enjoy the plants as they pop up next spring.

Build the path through the park

Plus, if you want to do something a little more physical, we’re also inviting people to get involved in renewing the path through the path at the same time on the same day. That path is essential to making the park usable across the muddy months of the year — hundreds of people use it, many every day, so please turn up to give a shift in making it happen.

Please join us on Saturday November 1 at 12, midday to plant bulbs for next spring and place the path through winter.
