Yoga and Tai-Chi sessions extended through August
We’re so pleased to be able to announce that we have found a way to extend our free/donations Yoga and Tai-Chi sessions in the park for another four weeks in August. It means we have been able to deliver these sessions for three months, thanks to the help of Islington Parks.
We are now seeking out sponsors and funding to bring these sessions back again next summer, and to extend the provision. We’ll keep you posted on that, and if you have any ideas (or would like to sponsor these events) please do make contact.
So, what’s available?
We are running Iyenger Yoga sessions on Thursday nights at 6:30pm and Chen Style Tai-Chi sessions at 6:30pm on Fridays.
Everyone is welcome, these are introductory sessions and no experience is required.
Our trainers – Steph (Tai-Chi) are fully accredited, and while we do ask those taking part in yoga to bring their own mat, no other equipment is required.
Sessions take place on Thursday and Friday evenings at 6:30pm.
The sessions we are offering are free to anyone to join, though we are requesting donations toward the costs of running the sessions once again in 2023.
When: Yoga on Thursdays & Tai-Chi on Fridays this August
Where: Wray Crescent Park, activity space. Look for the flags!
You need: Please wear loose clothes. For yoga, please bring your own mat.
Cost: Free, donations requested.
Time: From 6:30pm.
